My final Designs for the Editorial brief.

In response i wanted to create simple ideas in order to give an overall feel for the articles, mostly vector based with minimal colour.

I felt the most appropriate route to take in terms of ideas was that Exercise helps maintain a strong immune system weather your old or young, the final idea was to have a stamp saying Exercise on top of a doctors prescription.

The second symbolising the difference in size between a pound coin and the earth due to the article explaining how as the human race we can't differentiate between numbers such as a million and a trillion.

 

And the third incorporating the word love into a computer environment using binary code, the article is about relationship online.

Starting fresh with a new approach to my video's, this time looking into a more interactive feeling video, with a computer feel, taking simple steps such as things clicking to take you the next section of the motion graphic, i feel this style will benefit my project due to the information feel.

A few new ideas for the silent movie brief, i'm actually happy with every idea, and using crisp colour and simple typefaces to give the best impact for the word.

Storybaords. Top Ten.

A few story board designs for idents, some interesting ideas, definitely worth furthering.

A few of the ideas look very promising and i cant wait to explore them having learned new techniques, but i am unsure weather i will be able to fit into the 10 second limitation, if only i had 5 more seconds.

Others i feel are very simple and easy to create, these would most definitely fit into the limitation and could turn out looking good, 1 or 2 of the ideas i'm not massively keen on.

Colour ways / Type.

A select few colours along with my settled typeface, i feel the colours compliment each other very well, and relate to each individual lizard nicely, i am unsure weather to include one colour or more into my videos, i feel that by including more than one i may over complicate my video, the simplicity will do it justice along with clean crisp vectors i think.

A few more storyboards for idents, experimenting with new ways to apply techniques i have learned since begining this module, as to design a broad range of deliverables.

Today in pairs we went round our table of 6 and assessed everyones work, i received some helpful feedback which will benefit my project from here onwards, things like including sound, furthering story  boards and finalising videos.

I also created a short action plan from now until next week.

- Create an additional 10s.

- Apply scanned Images.
