In our collaborative groups we were now asked to select one brief from our collection of YCN competition briefs, we assessed each one, looking at how each one was restricting or open, we ran into a few problems regarding how open they were, it seemed with many briefs the client didn't know what they really wanted and relied on us to create a whole advertising campaign for them, this came across as a slight problem for us, so with our selected brief we had to pick out the exact requirements the client asks for and to then re-write the brief using this information.
This brief seemed most suited to us, being a paper manufacturing company they wanted to keep the project print based, we both enjoy print over digital also the restrictions were minimal, but they supplied a relevant audience and context for us to work with, leaving us to be creative and produce a personal response to this brief.
